Lance O. Omal, professionally known as Lancey Foux, was born on November 30, 1995, in Stratford, East London, to Ugandan parents. He began his music career in 2015 by freestyling over beats found on YouTube from his bedroom. That same year, he released his debut studio album, ‘Pink,’ followed shortly by ‘TEEN SKUM.’ His early career involved releasing singles on SoundCloud, leading to a collaborative studio album, ‘First Day at Nursery,’ with producer Nyge in 2017.
In 2018, Lancey Foux shifted his musical style, evident in his album ‘Too Far Alive.’ Later that year, he released ‘Pink II,’ a sequel to his debut, which featured the track ‘Dyed 2WICE’ with British rapper Skepta. This collaboration led to Foux joining Skepta on his SK LEVEL Europe tour. His growing profile also saw him perform at the Rolling Loud festival in 2019 and model for various fashion brands, including Jordan and A-COLD-WALL*. He also appeared on Skepta’s fifth studio album, ‘Ignorance Is Bliss,’ on the track ‘Animal Instinct.’ In December 2019, he released his fifth studio album, ‘Friend or Foux,’ under Universal Music.
Foux continued to release new music, including mixtapes ‘FIRST DEGREE’ and ‘LIVE.EVIL’ in 2021. The latter featured collaborations with American rappers Lil Yachty and 24kGoldn. In October 2022, he released his sixth studio album, ‘LIFE IN HELL,’ which included the viral hit ‘LANCEY OR LANCEY.’ He further expanded his discography with the mixtape ‘BACK2DATRAP’ in September 2023 and the collaborative mixtape ‘CONGLOMERATE’ in November 2024. In February 2026, he released the album ‘FIRST DEGREE: 2ND CHARGE.’ Lancey Foux has also been recognized for his contributions to the UK underground rap scene.
