Lemaitre

Lemaitre, the indie electronic duo comprised of Ketil Jansen and Ulrik Denizou Lund, first gained significant international recognition with their ‘Relativity Series’ of EPs. Notably, their May 2012 release, ‘Relativity 2,’ achieved remarkable success, topping both Canadian and US iTunes electronic album charts and securing high rankings in Switzerland, Australia, and France. This breakthrough followed their debut EP, ‘The Friendly Sound,’ released in 2010, and early tracks such as ‘Momentum’ and ‘Primeval Atom,’ which established their distinct and dynamic sound. In January 2014, Lemaitre signed with Astralwerks Records, joining a roster that included artists like Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers, both cited as inspirations for the duo.

Their tracks have also been integrated into major video game titles such as ‘Gran Turismo Sport’ and ‘Asphalt Legends Unite.’ Continuously exploring different genres and styles while maintaining a cohesive sound, Lemaitre emphasizes a dynamic creative process, solidifying their position as an influential force in indie electronic music.
