Lola Lennox Fruchtmann was born in London, England, on December 10, 1990. She began piano lessons at the age of seven and frequently recorded original songs in her parents’ basement during her teenage years. Her early life was spent in London with her sister Tali Lennox. Lennox pursued classical singing studies at the Royal Academy of London, establishing a foundation for her musical career. She signed with XIX Entertainment, securing Simon Fuller as her manager, and cites influences such as Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone, and Ella Fitzgerald.
Lennox’s career progressed with significant performances and releases. In October 2014, she performed alongside Ciara at Vogue’s Fashion Experience Dubai. Her live television debut occurred in January 2015, where she performed vocals with her mother, Annie Lennox, for the PBS concert special, “Annie Lennox: Nostalgia in Concert.” In 2017, she opened for Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.
