Los Temerarios, a renowned Mexican grupera band, was formed in 1977 in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, by brothers Adolfo Ángel and Gustavo Ángel, along with their cousin Fernando Ángel. Initially known as Conjunto La Brisa, the group quickly established themselves in the music industry, recording over 20 studio albums. Their dedication to romantic music has earned them numerous accolades, including two Grammy nominations and a Latin Grammy Award, showcasing their significant impact on Latin music.
Throughout their illustrious career, Los Temerarios have received multiple prestigious awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Premio Lo Nuestro 2005 and the Latin Billboard Music Awards in 2010. Their album “Ven Porque Te Necesito” became a staple on radio stations, further solidifying their status as influential artists. In 2000, they were honored with the Best Mexican-American Album at the inaugural Latin Grammy Awards, marking a significant milestone in their career.
Los Temerarios have performed in iconic venues, such as Radio City Music Hall, where they became the first Mexican act to headline a concert. Their performances at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City and the Festival De Viña del Mar in Chile, where they won the Gaviota De Plata award, highlight their ability to connect with audiences across generations and borders.
In August 2023, Los Temerarios announced their separation after nearly 50 years of making music together. Their farewell tour, “Hasta Siempre,” will continue through 2024, allowing fans to celebrate their remarkable journey and the love they have shared through their music.
