Anne Edwige Maria Peichert, known professionally as Louane Emera or simply Louane, was born on November 26, 1996, in Hénin-Beaumont, Pas-de-Calais, France. Her early life included participation in the French music competition ‘L’École des stars’ in 2008. A significant turning point in her career occurred in 2013 when she became a semi-finalist on ‘The Voice: la plus belle voix’, where her rendition of “Imagine” was notably dedicated to her late father. Her authentic performances on the show garnered attention, leading to further opportunities in both music and acting.

Her acting career began with her critically acclaimed role as Paula in the 2014 film “La Famille Bélier.” This performance earned her the César Award for Most Promising Actress and the Lumière Award for Best Female Revelation in 2015. Concurrently, her music career flourished with the release of her debut studio album, “Chambre 12,” in 2015, which became a commercial success.
