Luna Li, the stage name of Hannah Bussiere Kim, has made significant strides in the music industry as a talented singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. She first gained recognition in 2015 with her debut album “Moon Garden” under the name Veins, a garage rock group she formed. The album received a warm reception, showcasing her ability to craft engaging melodies and lyrics. After transitioning to her solo career as Luna Li, she self-released her first EP, “Opal Angel,” in 2017, which further established her unique sound and artistic vision.

In 2021, Luna Li’s career took a notable turn as she signed with AWAL Recordings and released the “Jams EP,” a compilation of her viral multi-instrumental jam sessions that captivated audiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. This project highlighted her versatility and creativity, allowing her to connect with fans on a deeper level. Her debut album, “Duality,” released in 2022, received critical acclaim and was nominated for a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year, solidifying her place in the Canadian music scene.
