Kevin Abstract, known for co-founding the hip-hop group Brockhampton, has carved a distinctive path with his solo ventures, creating music that blends hip-hop, pop, R&B, and alternative rock. After co-founding the influential hip-hop collective Brockhampton, Kevin Abstract went on to carve a distinctive path as a solo artist, blending hip-hop, pop, R&B, and alternative rock. Abstract’s musical journey began with the formation of AliveSinceForever, an internet music collective, in 2009, which evolved into Brockhampton by 2014. Simultaneously, he launched his solo career, self-releasing his debut album, ‘MTV1987,’ on July 15, 2014, garnering attention from music publications.

In 2021, Abstract also served as a creative consultant for the second season of the acclaimed HBO series Euphoria, demonstrating his versatility across media projects. In 2025, Abstract initiated several new ventures, establishing the Houston-based collective Blush and co-founding the record label Juno with Dominic Fike. The same year, he formed the duo Geezer with Fike and released his fifth studio album, ‘Blush,’ on June 27, 2025.
