Maná is a highly influential Mexican pop rock band that has sold over 45 million records worldwide, transitioning from local success to global recognition through consistent artistic evolution and social activism. After the release of their groundbreaking 1992 album ¿Dónde Jugarán Los Niños?, which sold over 10 million copies globally, including over 700,000 in the U.S., becoming the best-selling Spanish-language rock album of its era, Maná embarked on an extensive international tour performing 268 concerts across 17 countries. The band, comprised of Fher Olvera (vocals-guitar), Alex González (drums), Juan Calleros (bass), and Sergio Vallín (guitar), who joined in 1994, initially released their self-titled debut album in 1987. Their strategic signing with Warner Music following an initial period with PolyGram provided artistic freedom and subsequent commercial success.

In 2018, Maná received the prestigious Billboard Latin Music Lifetime Achievement Award, and later that year, they were recognized as the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year for their exceptional artistic and philanthropic contributions. Maná continued to tour extensively, launching their highly anticipated ‘Rayando el Sol Tour’ in 2019, further connecting with their global fanbase.
