Marcus Mumford formed the acclaimed folk rock band Mumford & Sons in 2007, establishing himself as their lead vocalist and primary songwriter. The band quickly achieved significant recognition, leading to Mumford’s inclusion in Forbes’ prestigious 30 Under 30 list of music stars in December 2012, an acknowledgment of his considerable impact within the music industry alongside peers such as Adele and Rihanna. Expanding his artistic footprint, Mumford contributed vocals to the Coen brothers’ film Inside Llewyn Davis in 2013, performing a compelling cover of ‘Dink’s Song’.
