Matt Goss is an accomplished English singer-songwriter and musician, known for his work with the 1980s pop group Bros and his subsequent successful solo career. After co-founding the pop group Bros in 1986, Matt Goss achieved global success, selling 16 million records worldwide. Their debut album, ‘Push’ (1988), secured 4x Platinum status in the UK, spending 84 weeks on the charts, and featured international hits like ‘I Owe You Nothing’ and ‘When Will I Be Famous?’. In 1989, Bros received the Brit Award for ‘Breakthrough Artist’ and headlined the ‘Bros in 2 Summer’ concert at Wembley Stadium.
Bros reunited for a landmark one-off show at the London O2 Arena in 2017, with tickets selling out in just seven seconds. In 2018, Goss was honored with the key to the city of Las Vegas, establishing August 8th as ‘Matt Goss Day.’ That same year, the documentary ‘Bros: After The Screaming Stops’, chronicling his and his brother’s lives, garnered three BAFTA nominations and won a BAFTA for ‘Best Documentary.’ His most recent solo album, ‘The Beautiful Unknown’ (2022), reached number 7 on the UK album charts.
