MF Robots, also known as Music For Robots, is a dynamic musical project founded by Jan Kincaid and Dawn Joseph, both of whom were integral members of the renowned Acid Jazz band, Brand New Heavies. Their collaboration began in 2013, leading to an immediate creative synergy that resulted in a wealth of original material. After releasing the album “Sweet Freaks” with the Heavies, Kincaid and Joseph decided to embark on their own journey, officially forming MF Robots in 2017.

The duo made a significant impact with their self-titled debut album, released in 2018, which showcased their unique blend of neo-soul, funk, and R&B. Their music is characterized by Kincaid’s exceptional drumming and production skills, paired with Joseph’s powerful and emotive vocals.
