Mike And The Moonpies

Mike and the Moonpies, now known as Silverada, have transitioned from a regional Texas band to a nationally recognized act, expanding their reach through extensive touring and critical album releases. After establishing themselves as a fixture in the Austin music scene, Mike and the Moonpies, led by Mike Harmeier, evolved from a regional act into a prominent neotraditional country and Americana force. Formed in 2007, the band quickly secured residencies at iconic venues such as the Hole in the Wall and later the White Horse, cultivating a dedicated local fanbase. Their debut album, ‘The Real Country,’ was released in 2010, followed by ‘The Hard Way’ in 2012.

The 2015 album, ‘Mockingbird,’ marked a significant step in expanding their audience beyond Texas, laying the groundwork for broader recognition. Building on this momentum, Mike and the Moonpies released the live album ‘Live at WinStar World Casino & Resort’ in 2016. Their 2018 album, ‘Steak Night at the Prairie Rose,’ further solidified their distinct sound. In 2019, the band achieved a notable milestone by recording ‘Cheap Silver & Solid Country Gold’ with a symphony at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

The band continues to engage audiences through extensive national and international touring, maintaining their reputation for high-energy performances and connecting with a devoted fanbase across numerous markets. With over 16 years of consistent releases and touring, Silverada remains a compelling force in the contemporary country and Americana landscape.
