Myles Kennedy’s illustrious professional career began in 1990 as the lead guitarist for the instrumental jazz ensemble Cosmic Dust, releasing their debut album ‘Journey’ in 1991. He then co-founded Citizen Swing in the early 1990s, contributing as both lead vocalist and lead guitarist across two albums: ‘Cure Me with the Groove’ (1993) and ‘Deep Down’ (1995). Following this, Kennedy formed The Mayfield Four in 1995, signing with Epic Records in 1996 and releasing the ‘Motion’ EP in 1997. The band went on to release two studio albums, ‘Fallout’ (1998) and ‘Second Skin’ (2001).
Kennedy continued to expand his solo discography with ‘The Ides of March’ in 2021 and his latest album, ‘The Art of Letting Go,’ released in 2024. Throughout his career, Kennedy has maintained an active touring schedule globally with both Alter Bridge and Slash, consistently selling out venues worldwide. Committed to making an impact beyond music, he co-founded the Future Song Foundation in 2015, an organization dedicated to music education, and actively supports wildlife conservation efforts.
