Mumford And Sons

Mumford & Sons are an English folk rock band known for their sonic instrumentation and lyrically focused music, achieving significant commercial success and critical acclaim. After their debut album, Sigh No More, soared to number two on both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard 200 in 2009, Mumford & Sons solidified their position as a leading force in folk rock. Comprising Marcus Mumford (lead vocals, guitar, drums), Ted Dwane (vocals, bass), Ben Lovett (vocals, keyboards), and Winston Marshall (vocals, banjo, guitars) until 2021, the band first gained traction with their debut EP, Love Your Ground, released in November 2008 on Chess Club Records. Their breakthrough single ‘Little Lion Man’ topped the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2009, leading to a debut US network television performance on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ in 2010.

Winston Marshall departed from the band in 2021, and Marcus Mumford released his debut solo studio album, Self-Titled, in 2022. In 2023, Mumford & Sons debuted a new song, ‘Maybe,’ at the Beach Road Weekend Festival. Demonstrating their continued innovation, they released ‘Good People,’ a collaboration with Pharrell Williams, in 2024. Looking ahead, the band has announced their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Rushmere, slated for release in 2025, alongside the relaunch of their acclaimed Railroad Revival Tour in the same year.
