Navy Blue

Navy Blue, known as Sage Elsesser, has cultivated a career bridging professional skateboarding and a prolific music career. After gaining recognition as a professional skateboarder in 2014, Sage Elsesser went on to cultivate a multifaceted career that bridges the worlds of professional skateboarding and acclaimed music. Elsesser commenced his professional skateboarding journey in 2014, aligning with the influential skater collective and clothing brand Fucking Awesome. During this foundational period, he also secured prominent partnerships with leading skater fashion brands such as Converse and Supreme, establishing a strong presence within the skateboarding community and fashion circles.

This comprehensive collection featured Song of Sage: Post Panic!, alongside three new works: Gift of Gabriel: Rain’s Reign!, Crypt of Carlos: Onward!, and Arc of Atreyu: Neverending!, with the latter three exclusively made available in physical format. A significant milestone occurred in 2023 when he signed with Def Jam Recordings, subsequently releasing the lead single ‘Chosen’ on March 10. This was followed by his seventh studio album, Ways of Knowing, on March 23, released under Freedom Sounds and licensed to Def Jam Recordings. Continuing his artistic evolution, Navy Blue departed from Def Jam following the release of Ways of Knowing.

In 2024, he released his eighth album, Memoirs in Armour, on August 2, further solidifying his independent artistic control and consistent output. As both Sage Elsesser and Navy Blue, he continues to demonstrate a compelling blend of creative entrepreneurship and consistent artistic endeavors across multiple disciplines.
