Never Shout Never, originally a solo project by Christofer Drew, emerged from Joplin, Missouri, in 2007, quickly gaining traction through the power of social media. Drew’s unique sound and heartfelt lyrics resonated with audiences, leading to the release of his debut EP, The Yippee EP, in 2008, which sold an impressive 46,000 copies. His breakout single, “Big City Dreams,” topped the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart, establishing him as a prominent figure in the indie rock scene. Drew’s early tours with notable acts like Owl City and Hellogoodbye further solidified his reputation as a captivating live performer.

In 2009, Drew signed with Warner Bros. Records, marking a significant milestone in his career. Under this label, he released his debut studio album, What Is Love?, in 2010, which peaked at number 24 on the Billboard 200. The album’s lead single, “What Is Love?” showcased Drew’s ability to blend catchy melodies with introspective lyrics, earning him a dedicated fanbase. His subsequent album, Harmony, released later that year, debuted even higher on the charts, demonstrating his growing influence in the music industry.
