Born on June 18, 1987, in Rockwood, Ontario, Canada, Nick Johnston embarked on his musical career in 2011 as a solo artist. His debut album, “Public Display of Infection,” was self-released in 2011, establishing his presence in the instrumental rock genre. Over the years, Johnston has released six solo records, demonstrating consistent artistic output and development. His albums frequently feature collaborations with other acclaimed musicians, including Paul Gilbert, Marco Minnemann, Guthrie Govan, and Bryan Beller, which has enriched his discography and expanded his reach within the music community. Johnston’s work is characterized by unique lyrical and melodic approaches, distinguishing his style amongst contemporary guitarists.
