Noa Kirel

Noa Kirel, born Noya Kirel on April 10, 2001, in Ra’anana, Israel, began her journey in the entertainment industry at a young age. Her early life was marked by a childhood kidney illness which led to a name change at the suggestion of a rabbi. In 2015, Kirel released her first song “Medabrim?” on YouTube, followed by “Killer” in the same year, which gained attention despite her youth. She continued to release music, with songs like “Yesh Bi Ahava” breaking into the Galgalatz playlist, and by the end of 2016, she was honored as “Singer of the Year” at the Israeli Kids’ Choice Awards.

Kirel’s career diversified in 2017 when she co-hosted the music show “LipStar” and starred in the teen film “Nearly Famous.” She further expanded her presence in television, serving as a judge on “Israel’s Got Talent” from 2018 to 2019, making her the youngest judge on a primetime show at 16 years old. During this period, she also acted in the television series “Kfula” and participated in various musical productions like the “Freestyle Festigal.” Her commitment to her home country was evident through her mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces from 2020 to 2022, where she served in a unique military band.

In 2020, Kirel signed a significant international recording contract with Atlantic Records and later with WME, signaling her global ambitions. She released her first international single, “Please Don’t Suck,” in 2021, followed by “Bad Little Thing” and “Thought About That.” A notable milestone came in 2023 when she represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Unicorn,” co-written and co-composed by her, achieving third place overall. Kirel has received continuous recognition for her musical talent, winning the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Israeli Act multiple times between 2017 and 2024. She continues to pursue acting roles, including an upcoming rom-com series “NOA” and a futuristic drama series “Wonder.”
