Multi-award-winning singer Noa Kirel is famous in her native Israel as a hugely popular and talented singer, actor, and television presenter. A two-time winner of MTV Europe’s Best Israeli Act Award, her biggest hits include the number one singles ‘Ten Li Siman’, ‘Ba Li Otcha’, and 2020’s ‘Million Dollar’ (the latter a collaboration with Shahar Saul). In 2020, Kirel showed her ambition to take her talents global by signing with legendary American label Atlantic Records. She also showed her loyalty to Israel by enlisting for her two-year military service in the Israeli Defence Forces, where she is currently part of the military band.
Born in 2001, Kirel first came to the public’s attention thanks to a documentary called Pushers, which followed parents who were strongly encouraging their children to embark on a particular career. Kirel appeared with her father, who was financing her dream of working in the entertainment industry. She started uploading videos to her YouTube channel in 2015. Just a few years later, the channel was fast approaching half a million subscribers and her videos were receiving tens of millions of hits (they have now been watched a total of more than 330 million times).
In 2017, Kirel expanded into television presenting, becoming a host of Lipstar, a programme on the kidZ channel. The following year, she got her own show on the same channel: Kfula, in which she plays both herself and a blogger who writes about her. As the presenting and acting roles came flooding in, she also appeared as a judge on Israel’s Got Talent, proving that she has quickly become one of Israel’s most respected entertainment personalities.
