Originating from Seoul, South Korea, ONF is a boy band known for its effervescent pop, hip-hop, and dance music, achieving success on Korean and Japanese charts. After Hyojin’s standout performance and second-place finish on Mnet’s competitive reality television show ‘Mix Nine’ in November 2017, ONF built a robust career trajectory. Formed by WM Entertainment, the group debuted on August 3, 2017, with their first EP, ‘On/Off.’ Members U and Minkyun (then MK) trained at JYP Entertainment and Starship Entertainment, respectively, with all initial seven members performing as backup dancers for B1A4 at the 2016 Dream Concert. They followed with their second EP, ‘You Complete Me,’ in June 2018, then expanded into the Japanese market, signing with Victor Entertainment for their official Japanese debut in August 2018 with a Japanese version of ‘On/Off.’ Following a lineup adjustment in August 2019, ONF released their fourth EP, ‘Go Live.’ In 2020, the group competed in Mnet’s ‘Road to Kingdom,’ finishing in second place.

Looking ahead, ONF is scheduled to release their second studio album, ‘ONF: My Identity,’ in February 2025.
