Petal, fronted by Kiley Lotz, is an American rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, focusing on introspective indie rock music. After independently releasing their debut extended play, ‘Scout,’ in September 2013, Petal, fronted by Kiley Lotz, quickly captured the attention of the indie rock scene. This initial success led to a significant record deal with Run For Cover Records just three months later in December 2013. The label subsequently re-released the ‘Scout’ EP, establishing Petals presence on a recognized independent platform and setting the stage for future projects.
In June and July 2018, the band embarked on a co-headlining tour across the United States alongside fellow Run For Cover label mates, Camp Cope, expanding their reach to a dedicated fanbase and showcasing their dynamic live performances to audiences nationwide. This was followed by a comprehensive worldwide tour from January to March 2019, further solidifying Petal’s international presence. The global trek included engagements across the United States, where they performed with artists such as Sir Babygirl and Cave People, before heading to Europe and the UK supporting Shakey Graves. The tour concluded with acclaimed performances in Japan, marking a period of significant international visibility and audience engagement that underscores Petal’s ability to connect with diverse audiences across continents.
