Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams first garnered widespread recognition for his groundbreaking production work as one half of The Neptunes, a duo he formed with Chad Hugo in 1992. As The Neptunes, they crafted a series of international hits including Noreaga’s ‘Superthug’ (1998), Jay-Z’s ‘I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)’ (2000), and Nelly’s ‘Hot in Herre’ (2002). Their prolific output also included producing Kelis’s first two studio albums, ‘Kaleidoscope’ (1999) and ‘Wanderland’ (2001), and contributing to Britney Spears’ album ‘Britney’ (2001) with tracks like ‘I’m a Slave 4 U.’ In 2001, Williams co-founded the band N.E.R.D. with Hugo and Shay Haley, releasing their debut album ‘In Search of…’ that same year.

Williams is a recipient of 13 Grammy Awards for his expansive body of work across music and film. Further diversifying his creative footprint, Williams founded the multidisciplinary media company I Am Other in 2012. In 2023, he was appointed as the Men’s creative director for Louis Vuitton, marking a significant foray into high fashion. His most recent work includes the release of ‘Piece by Piece’ (2024), an animated documentary film.
