Sam Williams

Sam Williams, grandson of country pioneer Hank Williams and son of outlaw legend Hank Jr., has established himself as a country artist who blends traditional roots with contemporary sounds, offering a unique voice in today’s music landscape. After making his late-night television debut in April 2019 on ‘Late Night with Stephen Colbert,’ performing his song ‘Can’t Fool Your Own Blood’ from the former Franklin, Tennessee, home of his grandfather, Sam Williams quickly established himself as a compelling voice in country music. Later that year, in October 2019, Williams debuted at the Grand Ole Opry with the same track. His burgeoning presence extended internationally in 2019 as he toured Europe, serving as an opening act for Cam on the Country to Country Festival tour.

Williams also participated in GLAAD’s 2024 Concert for Love & Acceptance, demonstrating his commitment to broader social engagement. The second part of his trilogy, ‘Act II: COUNTRYSTAR,’ is slated for release on July 11, 2025, and will feature a reimagined version of ‘HONKYTONKIN’.’ With 19 performances to date at the esteemed Grand Ole Opry, Williams consistently redefines his artistic identity while honoring a formidable legacy within country music.
