Grace Latoya Hamilton, known professionally as Spice, is a renowned Jamaican dancehall recording artist, singer, and songwriter, celebrated as the “Queen of Dancehall”. Her career took off after a standout performance at the annual Sting festival in 2000, leading to her first single “Complain” in 2003 under Madhouse Records. Throughout the 2000s, she collaborated with notable artists like Jimmy Cliff and Beenie Man, establishing her presence in the dancehall scene with hits such as “Fight Over Man” and the controversial “Ramping Shop” with Vybz Kartel in 2009, which garnered international acclaim.
In 2014, Spice signed with VP Records and released her debut EP, “So Mi Like It”, which featured the title track that became a viral sensation.
