The Heavy

The Heavy is an English rock band known for their unique blend of funk, soul, hip-hop, and rock, with their music frequently featured across various media platforms. After forming in 2007, The Heavy quickly established their distinct sound, blending funk, soul, hip-hop, and rock, which has since become a staple across diverse media platforms. Comprised of Kelvin Swaby (lead vocals), Dan Taylor (guitar), Spencer Page (bass guitar), and Chris Ellul (drums), the band released their debut single, ‘That Kind of Man,’ in late 2007, produced by Don’t Touch Recordings. Their critically acclaimed debut album, Great Vengeance and Furious Fire, followed in the UK on September 17, 2007, and in the United States on April 8, 2008.

Demonstrating their enduring appeal and consistent musical output, the band released their sixth studio album, Amen, in 2023. Their body of work underscores a sustained career marked by critical acclaim, impressive media integration, and a powerful live presence across international stages.
