Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is a five-member South Korean boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment, now Big Hit Music, a subsidiary of HYBE LABELS. The group officially debuted on March 4, 2019, with their first mini-album, “The Dream Chapter: Star.” This debut was highly successful, with the EP immediately reaching number one on the Gaon Album Chart and the Billboard World Albums Chart. Their lead single, “Crown,” also topped the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, and the group gained recognition on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. Their early career was marked by numerous new artist awards, including Rookie of the Year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards and the 2019 Melon Music Awards, New Artist of the Year at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards, and Best New Male Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards. This rapid ascent established TXT as a prominent act in the K-pop industry.
Over the subsequent years, TXT continued to build on their initial success with a consistent release schedule and expanding global presence. In 2020, they made their Japanese debut with the single “Magic Hour,” which quickly topped the Oricon Daily Chart. Their EPs, “The Dream Chapter: Eternity” and “Minisode1: Blue Hour,” also achieved platinum certifications from the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) and topped Japanese charts. A significant milestone in their career occurred in July 2022, when Tomorrow X Together became the first K-pop act to perform at Lollapalooza, a major US music festival. They returned to headline the festival in 2023, further solidifying their international appeal. The group has undertaken multiple world tours, including “Act: Lovesick” in 2022 and “Act: Sweet Mirage” in 2023, connecting with a global fanbase. In August 2023, their EP “The Name Chapter: Temptation” received Gold certification from the RIAA, marking their first certification in the United States.
Beyond their musical achievements, TXT has collaborated with various artists and brands, showcasing their versatility. They have released singles with artists such as the Jonas Brothers (“Do It Like That”) and Anitta (“Back For More”), performing the latter at the MTV Video Music Awards. Their discography includes Korean and Japanese studio albums, EPs, and singles, consistently charting across different platforms. The group’s commitment to their career was reaffirmed in August 2025 when all five members signed renewed contracts with their agency, ensuring their continued work together. Throughout their journey, TXT has maintained a focus on storytelling through their music, exploring themes relevant to youth, and engaging actively with their fanbase, known as MOA.
