About

On August 30, 2024, Tuk Smith & The Restless Hearts released their second full-length album, Rogue to Redemption, through Gypsy Rose Records, the Nashville label Smith founded after parting ways with MRG in 2023. With the EP Troubled Paradise set for release on October 16, 2025, the band is entering its most independent and prolific chapter yet.

The group was founded and is fronted by Tuk Smith, the former Biters frontman from Atlanta, now based in Nashville. Their debut single, “What Kinda Love”, arrived on January 10, 2020 — the same day the band was added as an opening act for The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, where they played to 42,737 fans at Coors Field. A planned debut album, Lookin’ For Love, Ready For War, was shelved after COVID-19 delayed the tour, and the band split from Better Noise.

Unbowed, they signed with Music Recording Group and released their debut album, Ballad of a Misspent Youth, in late 2022. Critics have compared their live swagger to AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, and UFO, praising Smith’s punk-pop hooks, street-corner charisma, and stadium-sized choruses — qualities that now drive their booking appeal across festivals and rock bills worldwide.
