Tyler Farr

Tyler Farr was born on February 5, 1984, in Garden City, Missouri. He attended Missouri State University, earning a degree in vocal performance, and is classically trained in opera. His early career included co-writing songs for other country artists. Farr signed with BNA Records and later moved to Columbia Records Nashville, marking the beginning of his journey as a solo artist. He gained significant attention with his singles leading up to his debut album, establishing a foundation for his music career.

Farr released his debut album, “Redneck Crazy,” in 2013, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200. This album featured his first No. 1 songs as an artist, “Redneck Crazy” and “Whiskey in My Water.” In 2015, his sophomore album, “Suffer In Peace,” also debuted in the Top 5 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums and Billboard Country Albums Charts, making him the only solo male Country artist in a decade to achieve this with his first two studio albums. His single “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” from this album became his first No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Throughout his career, Farr has toured with prominent artists such as Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Combs, Brantley Gilbert, and Lee Brice. After parting ways with Sony Music Nashville in 2018, he signed with Jason Aldean’s new imprint, Night Train Records, in 2019, releasing the EP “Only Truck in Town” in 2020. His most recent work includes the “Rednecks Like Me” EP, produced by Jason Aldean, continuing to deliver his signature country-rock sound.
