Vulfpeck is an innovative American funk band that emerged from Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2011. Founded by Jack Stratton, Theo Katzman, Woody Goss, and Joe Dart, the group’s journey began at the University of Michigan’s music school. Initial works like their debut EP, “Mit Peck,” set the stage for their distinctive sound, characterized by a nod to live rhythm sections reminiscent of 1960s session musicians.
