Vundabar

Vundabar is an acclaimed American indie rock band hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, known for their innovative sound and dynamic performances. Formed by Brandon Hagen, Drew McDonald, and Zack Abramo, the band made their debut with the full-length album “Antics” in 2013, which showcased their unique blend of indie rock and post-punk influences. Their sophomore album, “Gawk,” released in 2015, further solidified their reputation, introducing a gritty tone and a more complex sound that resonated with fans and critics alike.

In 2018, Vundabar released their third studio album, “Smell Smoke,” which marked a significant evolution in their musical style. The album was recorded at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia and featured a diverse range of instrumentation, including synthesizers and vibraphones. The band’s fifth album, “Devil for the Fire,” released in April 2022, was followed by the compilation album “Good Old” later that year, which included previously unreleased tracks and acoustic versions of fan favorites. Vundabar’s music gained significant traction on social media, with their song “Alien Blues” going viral on TikTok, amassing nearly 600 million streams on Spotify.

Continuing their momentum, Vundabar released two singles, “Digital Forest” and “Sugar Pill,” in May 2023, showcasing their ongoing creativity and relevance in the indie rock scene.
