Yovie & Nuno is an Indonesian pop band known for its contributions to the regional music scene, consistently releasing albums and singles and receiving industry awards. After their 2007 album, ‘The Special One,’ garnered critical acclaim, Indonesian pop band Yovie & Nuno went on to win the prestigious Best of the Best Album award at the 2009 Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards. This foundational recognition cemented their position as a significant force in the regional music scene. The band, with Yovie Widianto as a foundational member, along with Dudy Oris, Muchamad Ahadiyat, Gail Satiawaki, Ersta, and Rere, initially operated under the name Yovie & The Nuno in March 2004.
The band maintained a consistent output, releasing the popular single ‘Galau’ in 2012. That same year saw a lineup adjustment with the departure of vocalist Dudy Oris, yet the bands momentum remained strong.
