Aaron Cruden

Aaron Cruden is a decorated rugby player noted for his playmaking abilities and leadership, having steered teams to multiple championships and representing New Zealand on the international stage. After earning the prestigious IRB World Junior Player of the Year award in 2009 and captaining the New Zealand Under 20s to the IRB Junior World Championships title, Aaron Cruden quickly established himself as a formidable force in international rugby. His senior career began with a provincial debut for Manawatu in 2008, followed by his Super Rugby debut for the Hurricanes in 2010. The same year, Cruden earned his first cap for the All Blacks, marking the start of a significant international career.

Transitioning to international club play, Cruden joined Montpellier in France in 2017, where his leadership helped guide the team to become Top 14 runners-up in 2018. Continuing his career overseas, Cruden brought his renowned playmaking abilities and strong kicking game to Japan. He joined the Kobe Steelers in 2021, and subsequently moved to Suntory Sungoliath in 2022, where he continues to leverage his extensive experience and leadership to influence success on the field.
