Abby Wambach, a FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, transitioned from a decorated soccer player to a New York Times Best-Selling Author, speaker, and activist for equality. She set program records with 96 goals, 50 assists, and 242 points, earning SEC Freshman of the Year in 1998, SEC Player of the Year in 2000 and 2001, and first-team All-American honors three times (1999, 2000, 2001).
