Adam Pally

Adam Saul Pally, born in New York City on March 18, 1982, has built a career in comedy and acting since graduating from The New School in 2004. His early work involved improvisational and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCBT) in New York, where he performed in shows such as “Death by Roo Roo” and “ASSSSCAT 3000.” He was also a member of the sketch comedy group “Chubby Skinny Kids” and the improv group “Hot Sauce.” These formative years in live comedy provided a foundation for his transition into television and film.

Pally gained significant recognition for his role as Max Blum in the ABC comedy series “Happy Endings,” which ran from 2011 to 2013. Following this, he joined “The Mindy Project” as Dr. Peter Prentice for its second and third seasons, departing as a series regular in 2015. His career has also seen him in various film projects, including “Iron Man 3” (2013), “Dirty Grandpa” (2016), and the “Sonic the Hedgehog” film series, where he plays Wade. In addition to acting, Pally has taken on producer roles for shows like “Mr. Throwback” (2024), “101 Places to Party Before You Die” (2022), and “The President Show” (2017-2018), demonstrating his involvement behind the scenes.
