Russian Federation Alexander Savkin is an Uzbekistani modern pentathlete who competed at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. He is recognized for his performance in Modern Pentathlon at international competitions.
Alexander Savkin was born on March 24, 1988, in Moscow, Soviet Union. He is an Uzbekistani modern pentathlete. Savkin began engaging in modern pentathlon at the age of 13. His early training was under the guidance of coach Evdokia Grechishnikova. This foundation in his youth contributed to his development as an athlete in the sport.
Savkin has participated in significant international events throughout his career. A notable milestone for Savkin includes his participation in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, where he competed in the men’s individual modern pentathlon event. He finished in 32nd place in this competition, scoring 1303 points. Prior to his Olympic appearance, he achieved a bronze medal in the 2012 World Championship in Modern Pentathlon.
