Alice Carlile, a performer from the Wirral, began her career at a young age within the entertainment industry. A significant early role was playing Annie in ‘Annie the Musical’ at the Liverpool Empire in 2012. Her involvement in various theatrical productions continued throughout her formative years, including roles in pantomimes such as ‘Aladdin’ in 2011 and ‘Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs’ in 2019. This early foundation provided her with experience across different performance disciplines, preparing her for broader exposure in television.
Carlile gained national recognition in 2017 as part of the dance group MerseyGirls on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’ The group received a Golden Buzzer and advanced to the finals, significantly raising her profile. Following this, she appeared in ‘Britain’s Got Talent The Big Celebration Show’ in 2018, ‘Britain’s Got Talent – The Champions’ in 2019, and the ‘Britain’s Got Talent – Christmas Special’ in 2021. Her television work also includes a featured extra role in ‘Hollyoaks’ in 2014 and appearances on ‘Sam and Mark – Big Friday Wind Up’ for CBBC in 2019. In January 2024, she featured as a dance act on ‘America’s Got Talent – Fantasy League’ produced by NBC Television Productions USA.
Her career includes continued engagement in live performance and commercial work. In 2018 and 2019, she performed as a backing dancer and dancer at the BBC Summer Social events, supporting artists such as Mackenzie Ziegler and Johnny Orlando. She also hosted the ‘Dance Extravaganza Variety Show’ in 2018. Carlile has expanded her theatrical experience with roles in ‘Totally Tina’ in 2023 and 2024, and ‘HighJinx Magic Show’ in 2023 staged at the Blackpool Tower. Her acting includes a student film ‘The Girl in the Mirror’ in 2019, and upcoming theatre productions such as ‘Last Orders’ and ‘Skin Deep’ with Solomon Theatre in 2024 and 2025 respectively. She maintains a BTEC in dance from Rare Studios, acquired in 2019.
