After joining the main cast of HBO’s critically acclaimed series ‘The Leftovers’ as John Murphy for seasons 2 and 3 (2015-2017), Kevin Carroll gained widespread recognition for his impactful performance. An alumnus of New York University, where he earned his Master of Fine Arts, Carroll began his career with early film appearances including the short film ‘Notes in a Minor Key’ in 1994, followed by roles in ‘Ed’s Next Move’ (1996) and ‘The Object of My Affection’ (1998). He also notably appeared as a Cab Driver in the Oscar-nominated film ‘Being John Malkovich’ (1999) and portrayed Calvin in ‘Paid in Full’ (2002), demonstrating his versatility across early projects.
