Allison Scagliotti

Allison Scagliotti was born on September 21, 1990, in Monterey, California, USA. At a young age, her family relocated to Mandeville, Louisiana, where she began her involvement in talent and drama programs at Tchefuncte Middle School at age five. By age 11, an acting coach encouraged her to pursue acting in Los Angeles, leading to her booking a pilot for a sitcom filmed in New York. She then moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career. Scagliotti later pursued higher education, studying film at New York University. She subsequently earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Music Studies through Berklee College of Music’s online program.

Scagliotti’s career began with small television roles on series such as “One Tree Hill,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and “Zoey 101.” Her first significant recurring role was as Mindy Crenshaw on “Drake & Josh,” appearing in eight episodes from 2004 to 2007 and reprising the role in the spin-off movie “Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh.” Her first lead role in film was as Maddie in the 2005 short film “Redemption Maddie.” From 2009 to 2014, she starred as Claudia Donovan in the Syfy series “Warehouse 13,” a role that also led to a crossover appearance on “Eureka” in 2010. She continued to secure main roles, notably as Camille Engelson in Freeform’s “Stitchers” from 2015 to 2017, and a recurring role as Georgie in “The Vampire Diaries” in 2016.

In addition to her acting career, Scagliotti has expanded into directing, helming multiple episodes for popular action-comedy series like “Henry Danger” (2018-2019) and “Just Roll With It” (2021) for CBS and Disney, respectively. She also directed and executive produced the short film “The Cards” in 2018. Musically, she performs under the pseudonym La Femme Pendu, releasing her debut solo EP “All Them Witches” in 2019 and her first full-length album “Absolute Horror” in 2020. Her creative endeavors also include screenwriting studies at UCLA and certification as a health and wellness coach, further diversifying her professional profile.
