Born on September 15, 1979, in Phoenix, Arizona, Amy Davidson developed an early interest in performing, initially studying dance. Her passion for acting soon emerged, leading her to pursue formal training in Los Angeles. Her early career saw her gaining recognition with a recurring role as Cammie Morton in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen series “So Little Time” from 2001 to 2002. This experience set the stage for her breakthrough role.

Davidson became widely known for her portrayal of Kerry Hennessy in the ABC sitcom “8 Simple Rules,” appearing in all 76 episodes from 2002 to 2005.
