Andi Osho

Andi Osho is an accomplished British actress, writer, and former stand-up comedian, recognized for her versatile career spanning television, film, radio, and theatre. After winning the Funny Women award at London’s Comedy Store in July 2007, Andi Osho swiftly established herself as a multifaceted talent across acting, writing, and comedy. Her stand-up success continued as she became a runner-up at Hackney Empire New Act of The Year and Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year later that same year. Prior to her comedy breakthrough, Osho honed her craft through extensive stage work, making her professional debut in 2003.

She delivered a ‘powerful’ performance in ‘Medea’ in 2005 and appeared as jazz singer Dolly Rathebe in ‘Who Killed Mr Drum?’ that same year. In 2005, she also undertook a No. 1 tour of Dael Orlandersmith’s Pulitzer-nominated play ‘Yellowman.’ Her early career in television included roles at Walt Disney Television International and as a post-production supervisor on the ITV soap ‘Night & Day’ in 2001, in addition to an early acting role in the BBC soap ‘EastEnders.’ She was also recognized with a Diva Award in 2002 for her contributions to the industry.
