Cody Alt is a serial entrepreneur from Maxville, Montana, a small town where he grew up working on ranches, running equipment, and hauling logs. He co-founded Mon-Dak Oilfield Services with his father in April 2010. This venture involved hauling crude oil and reclamation work on oil pads. In May 2015, he transitioned from this role to focus on other entrepreneurial endeavors.
Alt gained recognition for his innovative approach to business, particularly within the CBD industry. In June 2015, he co-founded PureKana, one of the first mainstream CBD brands in the United States. Under his leadership, PureKana achieved $35 million in revenue within its first 40 months. He sold PureKana in 2019 for an eight-figure sum, and the company is now publicly traded. His ventures, including PureKana, have collectively generated over $225 million in online sales.
Beyond the CBD market, Alt has diversified his portfolio into various other sectors. He owned BodyFuel, a healthy pre-packaged meal business with multiple retail locations in Scottsdale, from February 2015 to October 2018. In January 2022, he co-founded SkyMD, a doctor-approved electrolyte brand focused on combating dehydration. His current work also includes his newsletter, The Infinite Game, which provides strategies for self-improvement and entrepreneurship.
