After starring as Sean in the cult-classic horror film The Monster Squad in 1987, Andre Gower solidified his position in the entertainment industry, establishing a career spanning over four decades in film and television as an accomplished actor, producer, and director. That same year, Gower went on to star for two seasons on the Fox series Mr. President alongside George C.

Hooker, and The Wizard, as well as co-starring with Piper Laurie in a 1986 episode of The Twilight Zone titled ‘The Burning Man.’ From 1988 to 1989, Gower held a recurring role on The Hogan Family. Expanding his expertise beyond acting, Gower successfully transitioned into producing and directing, demonstrating his versatility in the industry. In 2018, he produced and directed the critically acclaimed, award-winning documentary Wolfman’s Got Nards, which delves into the enduring impact and passionate fan loyalty surrounding The Monster Squad. Further showcasing his creative range, Gower co-created and co-hosted the digital series Short Ends for Nerdist/Legendary Studios from 2017 to 2018, engaging a dedicated online audience.
