Andrea Londo is a Mexican-American actress known for her roles in television and film, including 'Narcos' and 'SuperFly', leveraging her unique background to build a notable career in Hollywood.
Andrea Londo and filmmaker Greg Bekkers launched Two Lands, an independent production company dedicated to developing unique film and television projects.
Andrea Londo was born in San Diego, California, and spent her early life in Tijuana, Mexico. This unique upbringing involved daily border crossings for school in San Diego while residing in Tijuana. This bicultural and bilingual identity has been a significant aspect of her career trajectory. Londo initially moved to Los Angeles with the intention of pursuing an acting career. She gained representation by submitting a headshot and a cover letter through mail and started her acting career in short films created by university students. Her first television credit came in 2015, followed by guest appearances in “Faking It” (2016) and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” (2016).
A pivotal moment in Londo’s career occurred in 2016 when she auditioned for “Narcos.” The audition date coincided with her scheduled orientation for UCLA, which she skipped to attend the audition, ultimately securing the role of Maria Salazar in Season 3. In 2017, she was slated to play Carnalita in Kurt Sutter’s “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off, “Mayans MC,” but scheduling conflicts with “Narcos” led to her recasting. She described this as a challenging yet motivating experience in her acting career. In 2018, Londo was cast as Cynthia in Sony’s “SuperFly,” produced by Joel Silver and directed by Director X. She secured this role after a direct meeting with Joel Silver.
Since these early milestones, Londo has appeared in a variety of independent films and television series, including “The Free Fall,” “Dreaming Grand Avenue,” “Good Egg,” “Adventure Tom,” “Snowfall FX,” “Tommy,” and “The Winchesters.” Most recently, she participated in the play “Cloud Tectonics” alongside Bobby Junior Soto and Clayton Cardenas during the SAG-AFTRA strike, playing the role of Celestina del Sol.
