Andrea Londo is a Mexican-American actress and director who is best known for her role as Maria Salazar in Season 3 of the hit Netflix series Narcos. Londo was a border child, born in San Diego, California, but raised by her family in Tijuana, Mexico. She spent her childhood crossing the Mexican-American border in order to attend school. Londo later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Londo began her career as a short film director and made her professional acting debut in Catfish: The TV Show in 2015, which was her first television credit. She made her TV guest star debut on Faking It in 2016, as well as her first co-star appearance on Criminal Minds Beyond Borders. Narcos provided Londo with her first recurring part in a TV series.
Londo was cast as Carnalita in Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy spinoff Mayans M.C. (2018), however, Carla Baratta was later recast in the role after Londo fell foul of a scheduling clash. She starred as Cynthia in the Sony action movie Superfly (2018), directed by Julien Christian Lutz, who is professionally credited as Director X. In 2020, Londo starred in the fantasy romance feature Dreaming Grand Avenue, alongside Jackson Rathbone and Wendy Robie. She appeared on the cover of Elléments Magazine in April 2021.
