After being appointed editor of The Sunday Times by Rupert Murdoch in 1983, Andrew Neil solidified his reputation as a formidable force in British journalism, a role he held until 1994. During his transformative eleven-year tenure, Neil oversaw groundbreaking investigative journalism, most notably the 1986 revelation of details concerning Israel’s nuclear weapons program, which he considers his greatest scoop.
