Andy Dalton

Andrew Gregory Dalton was born on October 29, 1987, in Katy, Texas. He attended Katy High School where he excelled in football, even leading his team to the state finals in his senior year in 2005. He then committed to Texas Christian University (TCU), setting a school record for quarterback wins with 42, surpassing Sammy Baugh. His college career culminated in a perfect 13-0 season in 2010, including a victory in the 2011 Rose Bowl against the Wisconsin Badgers. This success established his reputation as a reliable and skilled quarterback.

Dalton was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his nine seasons with the Bengals, he led the team to five consecutive playoff appearances from 2011 to 2015 and earned three Pro Bowl selections (2011, 2014, 2016). He set Bengals franchise records for passing touchdowns, single-season passing yards, and single-season passing touchdowns. After his tenure in Cincinnati, Dalton played for the Dallas Cowboys (2020), Chicago Bears (2021), and New Orleans Saints (2022), providing experienced leadership to each team.

In 2023, Dalton joined the Carolina Panthers, re-signing a two-year contract in February 2025. Throughout his career, Dalton has demonstrated resilience and dedication, consistently contributing to his teams both as a starter and a backup. His continued presence in the league underscores his enduring capability and value as a professional athlete.
