He further defined his signature sound with the 1993 album ‘Worrying,’ which featured the enduring classic ‘Love Like Tide’ and pioneered his distinct ‘Zhe-style love songs.’ His rapid ascent culminated in receiving the prestigious Golden Melody Award for Best Male Mandarin Singer in 1996, cementing his title as the ‘Prince of Love Ballads’ across Taiwan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and mainland China.
