Angela Phuong Trinh

Angela Phuong Trinh was born on February 8, 1995, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She commenced her acting career in 2005, taking on early roles that set the foundation for her later work. A significant early project was “Kinh van hoa.” Her career progressed through various television series and films, demonstrating her capability to portray diverse characters. These initial experiences allowed her to build a recognizable profile within the Vietnamese acting landscape, leading to more prominent roles.

Her career includes several notable film and television appearances. In 2004-2006, she appeared in 6 episodes of the TV series “Kaleidoscope” as Diep (Quy Rom’s younger sister). She further diversified her portfolio with roles in films such as “How the Hell I Know” in 2013 and multiple projects in 2016. That year, she featured in “Ve Si, Tieu Thu & Thang Kho,” played Phong Linh in “Su Menh Trai Tim,” and portrayed Binh Chi in “Taxi, What’s Your Name?”. In 2017, she took on the role of Ha Quyen in the TV series “Glee Vietnam,” which is an adaptation of the American series “Glee.”
