Angus Sampson

Angus Sampson began his acting career in 1996 as Dylan Lewis’s sidekick on the ABC youth music show ‘Recovery’. Following this, he appeared in television roles including ‘The Secret Life of Us’, ‘The 10:30 Slot’, and ‘Greeks on the Roof’. In 2006, Sampson was recognized for his industry contributions as a special guest juror at the Melbourne International Film Festival. He continued to build his resume with a prominent portrayal of Ugly Dave Gray in the 2007 television film ‘The King’ and an appearance in ‘Wilfred’ the same year.

In 2014, Sampson showcased his multi-hyphenate talents by co-writing, co-directing, and producing the critically acclaimed film ‘The Mule’. His momentum continued into 2015 with his appearance as the Organic Mechanic in George Miller’s Oscar-winning ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’. That same year, he delivered a standout performance as Bear Gerhardt in the second season of FX’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series ‘Fargo’, further solidifying his reputation in high-profile productions. Since 2022, he has been a key cast member in the popular Netflix drama ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’, portraying Dennis ‘Cisco’ Wojciechowski across multiple seasons.
