Asa Butterfield

Asa Butterfield was born on April 1, 1997, in Islington, London, England. His acting career commenced at the age of eight after being discovered by a casting director at The Young Actors Theatre in Islington. After undertaking minor roles in early films, Butterfield secured his foundational role at the age of 10, portraying Bruno in “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” (2008). This particular role earned him recognition for his ability to convey innocence in a dramatic setting. Following this, he took on the role of Norman Green in “Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang” (2010), a performance that garnered positive reviews.
