When it comes to cheerleading, Ladarius Marshall is an electric performer, which is why he was featured in the Netflix original docuseries, Cheer.
Prior to becoming a popular television personality, Marshall was always practicing. He learned to tumble in third grade, advanced his skillset throughout middle school, and landed a spot on his high school cheerleading squad. His dedication led him to train a couple times a day, but it ultimately paid off: in 2018, Marshall made it onto Navarro College’s prestigious cheer team, the Bulldogs.
During his time on the Bulldogs (and prior to Cheer), Marshall was filmed while hyping his team up from the sidelines with an energized dance routine, encouraging them while they faced Georgia Military College. Little did he know, that video would go viral, leading him to be featured in an article from Good Morning America.
Shortly after, Netflix approached the squad to premiere the first ever season of Cheer, following the squad on the road to the national cheerleading championships in Daytona. The docuseries was six episodes long, and Marshall instantly became a fan favorite for his energy, leading The Cut to interview him in a feature piece and call him a “magnetic presence” on the show. For his feature, he modeled different designers in a photoshoot, including Armani, Balenciaga, Burberry, Dior, Prada and many more.
After the show’s conclusion, Marshal, earned first choice on the team for the following season. His influence earned him upwards of 450K followers on Instagram (one of his followers, being Dua Lipa), and he even appeared on an episode of Ellen.
