Arden Myrin

Arden Myrin was born in Little Compton, Rhode Island, and developed an early interest in performance, staging neighborhood plays as a child. Her education included Friends Academy and Middlesex School, followed by Colorado College. Shortly after graduating, Myrin immersed herself in the improv scene in Chicago, joining the Improv Olympic, and later continued her work in New York City and Los Angeles. These early experiences provided a foundation for her career in comedy and acting, eventually leading her to television where she became a cast member of the sketch comedy show “Mad TV.”

From 2005 to 2009, Myrin was a repertory performer on “Mad TV” for its final four seasons, where she was known for her comedic impersonations. Her television career expanded to include roles in notable series such as “Shameless” (Season 7), “Orange Is the New Black” (2013), “Hung” (2011), “Key & Peele” (2013), and “Grey’s Anatomy” (2018). More recently, she played Regina Sinclair in the Netflix series “Insatiable” (2018-2019), Mrs. Moyers in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (2023), and Jana Milsap in “The Righteous Gemstones” (2025). Myrin has also appeared in films including Quentin Dupieux’s “Wrong Cops” (2013) and “Wrong” (2012), “Kinsey” (2004), and “Morning Glory” (2010). Her stage work includes roles in David Mamet’s “Boston Marriage” at The Public Theater and Steve Martin’s “Meteor Shower” at the Long Wharf Theatre.

Beyond acting, Myrin is also a writer and producer. She has sold pilots to Adult Swim and MTV and authored the memoir “Little Miss Little Compton.” Demonstrating her comedic and hosting talents, she frequently appeared on “Chelsea Lately” over 100 times and was a regular panelist on “@Midnight.” She hosts two iHeartRadio comedy podcasts, “Will You Accept This Rose?” focusing on “The Bachelor” franchise, and “Lady of the Road,” which she co-hosts with director Julie Anne Robinson. Her diverse career showcases a consistent commitment to both comedic and dramatic roles across various entertainment platforms.
